The Second Coming of Christ is represented as a Man in a circle with spread arms in sign of glory and power.

Christian iconography portrays the death of Christ lifeless on the cross, the Second Coming of Christ on Earth is depicted by the figure of a Man enclosed in a Circle, often standing, and often with hands open and held high as a sign of glory and power. In this sense the Vitruvian Man is the  perfecting of that iconography with a realistic result, unifying the figure of the T, on the cross, with that of the  Y, with raised arms.
